Our guild handles cross class items (tokens or actual gear) using the raid list. The mod has no support for taking the highest from multiple class lists, so just using the Raid list makes it a lot easier.

It might make sense to make a separate Token list that is only used for tokens, and use the Raid list for actual drops. If you try using just the Raid list and you find people passing on either gear or tokens a lot for fear of not getting the token/gear they want, then you should make a separate Token list.

Using the class specific lists for Tokens like you suggested sounds like more trouble than it is worth.

Yes. You can create and manage any number of additional lists. Hint: turn off Auto mode in the options dialog box.

Yeah to me, Blizzard's whole-sale move toward token-based loot simplifies the job of any loot system. One challenge we had when designing SK was, "how do we deal with the fact that some classes will be more highly-represented than others?" Like you have 3 warlocks but 8 mages or whatever. That is how the class lists were born. The class lists, as you observe, are obsolete in any situation where there is no class-specific loot. In fact, we used a single list for ZG and AQ20 back in the day, since they are all tokens and cross-class.
